Create an account
An account is only for sharing.
Tessera works completely without one — your pages are files on your disk and the app never needs to reach the network. You need an account only when you want other people in a document.
Already have one? Sign in.
Two things to know before you type a password.
Nothing is emailed, so nothing can be reset. The server has no mail capability at all: no verification, no notifications, no reset link. A lost password means contacting us to recover the account by other means. Use a password manager.
Documents you share are not end-to-end encrypted. A server stores what is published to it in a form it can read, which means an administrator is technically able to read it. Access is limited to what running the service requires, but the guarantee is organisational rather than cryptographic — and if that is not good enough for your work, you can run your own server instead.
